Sun King

Drew got a warm break from Chicago while visiting his grandparents in sunny Florida at the end of January. No surprise that Drew loved swimming in the pool. He even was able to put his head under water with help from dad. He not only swam like a fish but ate lots of it too, continuously surprising us all with his well-rounded taste buds. Drew also got a little freedom away from his parents. As they explored South Beach in Miami, Drew lived it up at his grandparents' house. We made it home just in time for Chicago's worst blizzard in years. Drew found new nooks to explore while home bound due to the snow.

The more I think about it the more I know its true

Fun times for Drew last weekend when he tried walking with a wagon. As of now, Drew still has no balance standing on his own, but he is walking everywhere with a cart.

You say it's your birthday, it's my birthday too, yeah!

A few pictures from 12-18-10, aka Drew's 1st birthday. He had some balloons, got some new toys, had his first cake (Deerfield's with Hungry Caterpillar design), and had an all around great day.
