School's in session

Last Tuesday was a huge day for us. It was Drew's first day of preschool. The picture of him standing in front of the tree was  taken that morning. He was very excited to go and seemed really happy when we picked him up (although the teacher said he did get a little sad throughout the morning).  Ar school on the very first day, drew peed on the potty--which blew our minds because he had never done this at home.  Now he is going on the toilet a lot at home and we might potty train him by the time he turns three.  Jade is doing fantastic. She loves getting attention from us and smiles every time we go near her.  She is so easy out of the house whether it's shopping, the park or out to dinner.

The latest on Jade is that she smiles at us nonstop. She also slept through the night two nights in a row.  It was great but we are not holding our breath.  Meanwhile, Drew is gearing up to start preschool next month but he still enjoys swimming and eating ice cream at the park as the summer winds down.  He actually can be seen in the picture above jumping off the diving board. 

Jade started smiling at about 5 weeks but now that she is about 8 weeks she is really expressive. She is so cuddly, beautiful and easygoing.  Thankfully, she is only waking up once in the middle of the night.

Beautiful Girl

Jade is the girl of the hour! Here are a few pictures taken during Jade's first few days. Now, Jade is over two weeks old and she is doing fantastic. She seems so strong and is easy-going. We all just adore her.  We will post more updated photos very soon. She is already growing fast and putting on plenty of weight. Ron and I are exhausted but starting to really enjoy the craziness.
